Remind me why anybody cares what Tracy Morgan says. I say the world as a whole ignore him, forever.
Writer and activist Dan Savage won the 2011 Special Achievement Award at the Webby Awards on Sunday in New York and he had a message for Tracy Morgan.
This American Life host Ira Glass introduced Savage, who was honored for his “It Gets Better” campaign, which was a response to the spate of recent LGBT youth suicides. Wearing a “Google Santorum” t-shirt, Savage kept his acceptance speech to the five-word limit. Watch the video below.

A quick look at the YMC footwear collection for men coming Spring 2012. A few carry over models remain in the collection (for good reason), but the bulk are fresh takes in suedes and brown leather. Above, the patchwork trainer works while the wingtip slip-on may need some modification.
Not every popular gay resort destination out there has a pulsing nightlife and a wide selection of gay-exclusive guest houses.Sedona, Arizona - about two hours north of Phoenix and two hours south of the Grand Canyon - has developed an ardent LGBT following in recent years as much for its spiritual, New Age-y energy as for its increasingly swish bistros, cushy contemporary inns, and high-end art galleries. It’s a classic couples getaway, oozing romance and packed with photo ops. And just across the Verde Valley, you can switch your car’s transmission into a low gear and climb high up a mountainside to the quirky former mining town of Jerome, where a funkier, rowdier retro-cool selection of still-more galleries, taverns, and restaurants await. But what truly draws weekenders – and even a fair share of week-longers – to Sedona and Jerome are the oddball red-rock formations soaring above a high-desert carpet of pinon, juniper, ponderosa pine, and cacti. If you don’t find this landscape genuinely stirring, you might want to have that contact lens prescription updated.
Bearded man Kris Olmon steps in front of my camera again this time herding cats with no hair and sharp claws. It took a little finesse in photoshop to make all the red scratch marks on his skin disappear. Traditionally not a cat person, Kris stepped up for an awesome photo shoot in my Scottsdale studio, Phoenixphotodesign.com.
Kentucky: Disabled Gay Couple Ejected From Pool
A gay couple in Hazard, Ky., was ejected from a public recreation facility, sparking outrage from local LGBT organizations and allies.
The two men, who are reported to be developmentally and intellectually disabled, went to the pool at the Pavilion in Hazard, a city-owned facility. They were turned away by a maintenance technician, who told them, “We own this place and can tell you to leave if we want to.”
I go out of town and this happens, golly!

Who Took the Bomp? a documentary that chronicles Samson’s previous band, Le Tigre, was released on DVD last week.
