The SFPD released the following video of the man in a wheelchair who was shot by officers at 10th and Howard and streets in SoMa on Tuesday. According to The Chronicle, “A witness used his cell phone to capture the shooting on video, which shows four officers surrounding the suspect in his wheelchair. In the video, one of the officers shoots the suspect using a beanbag gun, and the suspect appears to throw the knife aside. Two fishermen got quite the fright when a Great White Shark began circling their small vessel off the southeast coast of Australia. The two men filmed the estimated 16 foot shark circling their vessel, but quickly took off once the animal lunged at their boat. “It almost took the motor off,” one man is heard saying. “I was pretty quick to jump on the throttle and get on outta there,” said another. Shark teeth were found embedded in their propeller when they reached the shore.
Passengers Subdue Potential Hijacker On Turkish Jet

A Turkish Airlines passenger claiming to have a bomb tried to force his way into the cockpit on a flight from Norway to Istanbul on Wednesday, but he was subdued by others and the plane landed safely, Turkish media reported. There were no injuries.
The man was arrested after Flight 1754 from Oslo landed at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport at 9:30 p.m. and police said he did not have any explosives, Anatolia news agency reported. The agency said he began shouting threats on the flight after putting on a ski mask, and demanded that the plane return to Oslo.
However, two passengers were able to restrain him, according to Anatolia. Earlier, it said the man, identified by Anatolia as 40-year-old Cuma Yasar, was subdued by flight attendants. Anatolia said the man was carrying a card identifying him as a disabled person. No further details on the man and his motive were immediately available.
The Boeing 737-800 was carrying 60 passengers, including a child, and seven crew members.
