For the love of Tony Ward; Uniform dressing is the look for 2011

by Accidental Bear

Tony, I got one thing to say,

“…Gonna dress you up in my love
All over, all over
Gonna dress you up in my love
All over your body

Feel the silky touch of my caresses
They will keep you looking so brand new
Let me cover you with velvet kisses
I’ll create a look that’s made for you…. “

(Dress You Up Lyrics

All Eyes On: One Day in the Life Of… photographer Tim Hailand

by Accidental Bear

I know gobs of talented people oozing with with creativity and ideas ( most of them tortured and some kind of brilliant mania). The problem I see is that this monster needs to be channeled in order for success ( Yes, the idea of success can be debated for a life time) The most genius artist I know have never had a show but have a basement full of master pieces. If done by a business minded human, they would be “rich” and famous from their torture represented on a canvass or by sculpture.

Photographer Tim Hailand has been able to conquer this artistic monster in him and reaps its  rewards. You can see it in his amazing photographs.

In his photo book series One Day in the Life Of… photographer Tim Hailand gives fans an intimate look at the lives of celebrities like Scissor SistersJake Shears, singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

For One Day in the Life of Rufus Wainwright, Hailand followed the musician from New York City to Boston for his performance at the Boston Opera House. The book features an intro by NYC nightlife legend Cherry Vanilla and text from Rufus himself. A portion of sales will benefit the Kate McGarrigle Fund for cancer research in honor of Rufus and Martha’s late mother.

Elton John provides the introduction for One Day in The Life of Jake Shears, which follows the pop icon and Scissor Sisters frontman in London before the group’s performance at the O2 Academy Brixton. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. READ MORE
