For All You Chubby Chasers, Sorry But Bacteria May Help Your Partner Loose Weight

by Accidental Bear

My first thought is that this is just another excuse for people to be lazy and not follow the undeniable best way to loose weight, exercise and diet. Wahhh wahhh, it’s my bacteria that makes me fat. There just might be something to this. Our gut is all mighty powerful and regulates are entire body. Its like if our neighborhood got taken over by thugs and ganstas , the results would be tragic. Lets just consider this “wrong” bacteria a gansta taking over your gut. Bring in some alternative bacteria and your overall stomach flora may flourish, Better yet you may drop some weight. All you chubby chasers out there stop crying!

Don’t have time to exercise and can’t afford a healthy diet? New research suggests that you might be able to lose a few pounds simply by changing the kinds of bacteria that live in your gut, according to Physorg.com.
This news may sound like an infomercial, but for some people, the solution to their weight problem might be as simple as getting a “bacteria transplant.” Or at least, that’s the theory that Willem De Vos, microbiology professor at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, has suggested in a recent lecture.

Castro Farmers Market is Back

by Accidental Bear

You know how, in anticipation of a really good dinner you kind of starve yourself a bit because you know you are going to chow down to the point of nausea. Thats what I did last year during the Castros Farmers Market season, sort of. Each week I longed for pumpkin filled flat breads and softball size peaches. I purposefully ate less all week with my eye on the prize, Wed 4 pm – 8 pm, Market St And Noe St. I imagine myself a whale in the open sea mouth wide open, stabbing through the market collecting as much as possible, then diving back down deep , in my case the Mission. Hope to see all your smiling faces at the Market. You’ll will get bonus points for having food on your face.

Fashion NOPE! Luar Zepol ‘Back Strap’ Pants

by Accidental Bear

Designed by Raul Lopez, we’ve christened these the “Back Strap” trousers, which are of course a steal-from-the boys situation as the line is targeted to men. Since shorts shorts are so common, this is so much more of  unique look. Formally of Hood by Air, Lopez created these for his new labelLuarz Zepol. More images on the next page via Vashtie.

Gays hijacking the Civil Rights Movement

by Accidental Bear

Now wait one cotton pickin’ minute, what am I reading here (I could not resist, do not hang me). Homophobia exists within its own community, racism within its own race. So it is no surprise that one minority group slams another. Dear Rev. Keith Ratliff Sr, were you not held as a child or were you simply dropped on your head? I support you EVEN THOUGH we are different.

As a GAY, I am sorry for taking some of your spot light.

Rev. Slams Civil Rights, Gay Rights Link

Breaking with several state- and national-level leaders of the NAACP, an Iowa-based preacher who heads a chapter of the country’s oldest civil rights organization said he is sick of gays and lesbians “hijacking the Civil Rights Movement.”

Rev. Keith Ratliff Sr., president of the Iowa-Nebraska chapter of the NAACP, added there is “no parallel” between the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s and the gay rights movement, and to draw such a correlation is “an insult,” according to the Des Moines Register.
