West Hollywood is usually a buzz with hung over-meth-head-tragic -scensters, but today the West Hollywood gays are demanding a street be named after Elizabeth (we’re on first names basis). Street, Avenue, or Alley, Elizabeth has put in her time with the gay community and is deserving to walked all over for eternity.

Elizabeth Taylor Street in West Hollywood?
West Hollywood residents are calling for a street to be named after actress and AIDS activist Elizabeth Taylor, who died last week at age 79.
According to LA Weekly, Michelle Rex, the interim deputy director for Councilman John D’Amico, residents have been calling and writing City Hall to suggest the street naming, but there has not yet been any formal discussion among city leaders.
Taylor, a major early force in AIDS fundraising, spent time at West Hollywood spots including The Abbey, where she sipped shots of tequila.
