Elton and David Go Shirtless for Sons Birth

by Accidental Bear

I know, I know, I get it, skin to skin contact, but I am getting the most hilarious image in my head of a screaming bloody new born baby and a shirtless Elton John and Husband crying, and their man boobs covered in baby blood, chewing the babies umbilical cord in half. Sometimes your imagination is all you got.

Elton and David’s Daddy Details

Elton John and David Furnish will reveal many details about the gestation, delivery, and first few months of life of their son, Zachary, on ABC’s 20/20Friday night.
John reveals that the two took their shirts off during the delivery and placed the newborn Zachary, born December 25, on their chests, according to People.

“They call it skin-to-skin bonding because it’s such a traumatic thing for a baby to come into the world,” Furnish told Barbara Walters.

Summer Casual; Nonnative 2011

by Accidental Bear

In the beginning of summer I usually cut off whatever pants I wore all winter into short and I am good to go. Nonnative gives me the urge to clean it up a bit. I don’t think I’ll go as far as putting together a whole look, but I may start looking in the mirror at least once before I leave the house.

Nonnative Spring Looks 2011

Nonnative is killing it this Spring and Summer 2011. Easily one of the more forward-casual collections on the market. Their latest collection of “looks” at their “The Bluffer’s Code” collection helps push the point. The focus is on the individual being comfortable. Bang on. Other looks at their Spring/Summer 2011 collection can be found here.

‘Cause if You Liked it, You Better Put a Patch on it, oh oh oh…

by Accidental Bear

Normally you might find patchwork in the Haight and Asbury area or on your favorite pair of jeans that you are in denial that they need to be thrown away. Band of Outsiders “tries” to rock it out this season. Would you be caught wearing this? I would, maybe on a rainy Sunday, where I don’t plan on running into too many people.

If you’ve followed this site for any amount of time, you’ll know about our love for patchwork. Yeah, we still like it – no matter how many ‘it looks like grandma’s old quilt’ jokes we get thrown our way. This one’s from the Band and, as far as patchwork goes, it’s pretty tame – which is a good thing. (Aloha Rag)

Morrissey Talks to BBC (Video)

by Accidental Bear

Morrissey has 9 solo albums under his belt, and a reluctant interviewee. He started out by offering that he is “Surprised it’s (his solo career)lasted so long”. Interesting insight from the man who has guided me from child into adulthood.

“Smiths reunion will never happen!”

He admits, “Some of his earlier songs were like mating calls.

“It’s very important to me that all my songs have soft edges.”

“I’m a gay, heterosexual male.”-Lil B

by Accidental Bear

My gay-straight alliance supporter list is growing and getting sponsorship from the strangest of places. Rapper Lil B is attempting to de-stigmatize the word gay. Lil B said at Coachella: “I’m going to do the most controversial thing in hip hop…i’m gonna show you that words don’t mean s**t. I’m gonna make an album called “I’m gay.”

Lil B via

In his steady rise to rap notoriety, Lil B has relied heavily on his viral fanbase. His multiple MySpace pages, Facebook “likes” and army of Twitter followers have helped propel his music and message. But ever since Lil B announced at Coachella last week that the title of his next album will be I’m Gay, some fans have turned on the Based God. A few have even sent digital death threats.

“People been hitting me up like, ‘I’m gonna bash your head in,’ ‘you f—-t,’ ‘I’m gonna kill you,’ ” Lil B told MTV News on Thursday (April 21), as he drove to a show at the Mezzanine in San Francisco.

With upcoming shows lined up in Chicago, Detroit and at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey in the next few weeks, Lil B showed no signs of fear and said he’d proceed with his scheduled dates.

“Jesus Had 2 Dads and He Turned Out Fine.” – Dublin

by Accidental Bear

I want to sit homophobes and religious freaks down on a therapist couch and ask them some questions. I would be reserved and refrain from asking, ” What the fuck is wrong with you!”, and maybe ask, “Who hurt you?”, “Why are you so insecure?”, ” Why did you drop out of school in the 5th grade?”, “What deep dark secrets do you hide in our closet?” Those would just be my warm up questions.

Poster for Gay March Courts Controversy

By Editors

Despite the possibility of stirring up outrage, a controversial poster invoking Jesus to promote marriage equality will appear all over buses and trains in Dublin starting today.

The poster shows an illustration of several protesters at a rally, with one holding a sign that says, “Jesus Had 2 Dads and He Turned Out Fine.” The ad is for the third annual March for Marriage, to be held August 14 in Dublin. READ MORE
