Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, a 49 year-old woman from Kazan, Russia woke up at her own funeral and then died for real from a heart attack caused by shock as she realized where she was.
According to the Daily Mail, Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov had been wrongly declared dead by doctors after suffering chest pains and collapsing at her home in Kazan, capital of Tatarstan.
But she was very much alive. As mourning relatives filed past her open coffin Fagilyu suddenly woke up and started screaming when she realized that she was at her own funeral. Within twelve minutes, she was dead for real of a heart attack, presumably from the shock.
Her husband, Fagili Mukhametzyanov, told The Sun that he would sue the hospital.
“I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her.”
A spokesman at the hospital said they are carrying out an investigation.
