Tasting the rainbow: Ants Whose Multi-coloured Abdomens Show Exactly What They’ve Been Eating

by Accidental Bear

Although your belly may show case  half eaten Jelly Bellies, chicken strips and pepperoni pizza these ants are attracted to color, sugar drops. The ants seemed to prefer lighter colours such as greens and yellow to darker blues. Read on what www.dailymail.co.uk has found out about these crunchy critters.

A good palette: Some of the ants even wandered from one colour to another, creating new combinations in their stomachs

The saying ‘you are what you eat’ is true for these insects as stunning pictures show their abdomens changing colour as they sip on sugar drops. Father of three Mohamed Babu set up the photographs after his wife, Shameem, showed him some ants had turned white after drinking spilt milk. He gave the creatures the brightly coloured sugar drops and watched as their transparent stomachs matched the food they were eating. A good palette: Some of the ants even wandered from one colour to another, creating new combinations in their stomachs.

Speechless: Diet Butcher Slim Skin Leopard High Top Sneakers

by Accidental Bear

Speechless is our section where we present something to you without a side, a kind of show and tell. We were brought right with the, “i you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all.” Get my drift. Enjoy, hate or laugh! Here at Accidental Bear we are trying to stay away from hate, but geez, it’s hard sometimes. Somehow it make perfect sense that these pieces of “art” are made in Tokyo.

Diet Butcher Slim Skin Leopard High Top Sneakers

Well out there sneakers from Diet Butcher Slim Skin. These leopard prints will truly fascinate some while being rejected by the mass. That is the f’ing point right? “This season Tokyo’s Diet Butcher Slim Skin have added a zip to the back of their high top, allowing them to give it a more traditional boot shape and a taller silhouette. The sneaker still retains the chunky streetwear styling, although the first thing you notice here is the leopard print sections on the upper.” Oki-ni has them. (via Selectism)
