What makes it historic? Until now only the Gay Pride and the Leather Pride flags have been allow to fly over the Castro, Today we will make history and raise the Bear Flag starting at 9 a.m. followed by a Champagne Toast at Under One Roof at 10 a.m. All part of the Bears Invade the Castro. If champagne is to strong for you at 10 a.m. All weekend long for IBR Tag Holder Starbucks aka Bear-bucks or Star-bears will have specials for you.

This will NO DOUBT be the high light of IBR weekend! Mould and Morel are going to blow the top off the mutha’-beepin’ house(Slims actually)! Which will be awesome actually, then our predicted rain for the weekend will pour in on the hairy hotties, backs glistening, sweat flying, beef bouncing, hands in the air, shirts tossed aside dancing studs. Come join the fun!!! Or stay home and watch re-runs of Judge Judy. Your choice.

B B B Bearracuda ( sing like chia-pet song) is happening this Saturday and it’s not one you’ll want to miss! Bears from around the WORLD will be in town and on the loose! Sit back set your BEAR TRAP and you will have a successful weekend.

One of our BIGGEST nights of the bear year is this Saturday at the Cat Club. 2 rooms, 4 DJs and 100’s of guys from all over! If you’re coming from out of town, advanced Will Call tix are highly recommended at http://www.bearracuda.com/IBR All advanced ticket holders will be able to move to the front of the line.

Say Wahhhh? Let me wrap my head around this, Close Encounters of the Bear Kind IBR. This is going to needs some explaining. I’m interested, intrigued and incapable of decsribing what this event is. < Hold Please>
Ok, this is what I have for you;
International Bear Rendezvous is an annual gathering of bears and bear-lovers held in San Francisco. It is hosted by the Bears of San Francisco, who conceived of Rendezvous as a weekend of fun and fundraising. The event fosters a sense of community among participants while at the same time raising money for agencies serving gay and HIV communities at local, state, and national levels. Fundraising is accomplished through sales of registration packages ,raffles, auctions, and direct donations from participants and the community. Since the first Rendezvous in 1995, net proceeds have resulted in donations totaling over $500,000 to many non-profit organizations. http://www.bearrendezvous.com/
