X-Men Born This Way (Acoustic Parody)

We saw X-men First Class over the weekend and it inspired us to write this song in parody of Born This Way by Lady Gaga. It’s rough at the moment but if it gets a good response we’ll try to make a full version of the song

Courtney Love has said she Believes Lady Gaga Could End up as a ‘lonely drag queen’
If it came down to a street brawl between Ms Love and Gaga, I think it would be a pretty fair match. Love would most likely fight dirty and Gaga would probably try to drowned Love with magic pixie dust. I would put money down that Love would be standing at the end though. ~ AB

Who and What Are Jedward? I Dub Them, Boy GaGas!
Jedward are like cute little well groomed androgynous puppies. I can see why they may have to fend off a fire storm of criticism and mean commentary; They are an easy targets. They have tall order haircuts and teen pop sensation energy. I am going to hang up my jaded, judgmental coat and check √ i like on their Facebook fan page. After watching their interview below, you feel their electric passion and their excitement of what’s to come. My second theory is that they just drank 6 shots of espresso, 2 Red Bulls and ate a bowl of sugar. Sweet youth. I am going to do my best to get these young lads to perform in our city by the bay. Born this Way Movement (√ I like)

I love when it’s reinforced, that indeed, I do have a heart. I just got goose bumps watching this 11 yr young man sing his heart out in the safety of an accepting audience. When Gaga came out with her “Born this Way” song, naysayers were out with there picket signs and bitter words before the record was out for an hour (myself included). I am realizing now, the movement that is happening behind the song. Whether you like Gaga or not doesn’t matter. It is one thing to be told as a queer youth that it is OK to be gay/bi/trans, but giving a creative platform, a stage, gives those words power. Gaga is out there being proactive and creating change. What are you doing? So, turn down your quick-to-judge-toxic-people-reader-meter and embrace the Born this Way movement. √ i like

Weird Al is one of my guilty pleasure. I bounce back and forth between wanting to kick his ass and laughing. My all time favorite parody of his would be Eat it, having fun of Michael Jackson’s Beat it. There is no stopping this speeding geek train named Werid Al.

Comedic singer/songwriter “Weird Al” Yankovic will release a single and music video based on Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way” after initial reports that Gaga rejected a request from Yankovic to parody her song.
Yankovic’s made a name for himself after releasing songs and music videos parodying Queen, Michael Jackson, and Madonna in the 1980’s. For his next album, slated for release this summer, Yankovic planned to release a single and music video based on Gaga’s “Born This Way” titled, “Perform This Way.” The song is a take on her ostentatious presence and outlandish style, on and off stage.

Where Have all the Great Whites gone?
I am a water baby and often daydream of living under the sea. I imagine the water of the Bay Area swarming with great white sharks. I obsessively stare at the surface of the water in an attempt to make a shark fin appear. I know found out it’s much less likey than I had thought. I’ll have to lather myself in fish guts dump myself over board to getter a better look I guess. I’ll have to ask Lady Gaga how to best cover myself with dead animals and still look haute couture.

Few great white sharks than scientists expected

Far fewer great white sharks ply California’s coastal waters than biologists had expected, according to the first-ever census of the predators’ population in the northeast Pacific Ocean.
In fact, scientists believe only 219 full-grown and near-adults hang out in the waters between Bodega Bay and Monterey each fall, feasting on seals and sea lions before roaming south to mate.
“The number seems incredibly low – it was very surprising for us,” said Taylor Chapple, who led the study as a post-doctoral student at UC Davis. “If you look at other protected marine mammals such as polar bears or killer whales, their populations are far bigger than white sharks.”

Latino variety star Charo has blasted Lady Gaga for “copying” Madonna, insisting she takes her entire act from the Material Girl‘s Blonde Ambition years.
The Poker Face hit-maker released her hotly-anticipated new single Born This Wayearlier this month and immediately faced criticism it was a re-write of Madonna’sExpress Yourself.
Now singer/actress Charo has joined the growing group of Gaga detractors – accusing her of “adopting” the Queen of Pop’s style.
She tells Sirius XM, “I can tell you, to me, Lady Gaga is Madonna with diarrhea… I don’t like it when somebody copies somebody and just adopts it – like their own idea.”

Lady Gaga went to the extremes in a new raunchy photo shoot for Supreme, a New York City-based line of clothing and skateboarding gear.
A behind-the-scenes video posted online by photographer Terry Richardson features the “Born This Way” songstress fondling her breasts, touching her nether regions and provocatively licking her arm.
In the few parts where the pop star, 24, is clothed, she’s wearing only skimpy black lingerie or a wet white t-shirt bearing the Supreme logo.

Something Egg-a-licious
Why do I post about this Gaga? I claim to loathe her? I post of her spectacle and art NOT her music. I am going to stop riding the train around town and will be arriving by EGG to a cafe near you. The first single on my imaginary first album will be called ” CRACK that mutha f’n Egg” . You’re welcome!
Lady Gaga Collects Early Grammy
Several hours before she was scheduled to hatch at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, Lady Gagacollected the award for Best Female Pop Vocal performance for “Bad Romance.”
Gaga is up for another five awards Sunday night. The singer arrived on the red carpet in an egg to promote her new single, “Born This Way,” which broke records when it was released on Friday.
