DR. Drew Takes On The ‘EX-GAY’ Discussion (Video)

When I am super rich and famous (any day now) Dr. Drew will be part of my posse watching my back. We have the “Dr.” Phils of the world who make me slightly nauseous , but without ever having a face to face conversation I trust Dr. Drew and think he knows his shit.


Does a talk show host even have to ask the question, “Can you pray the gay away?” to know that the answer is a flat out “no?” Alan Chambers, head of the so-called “ex-gay” organization Exodus International, who just had their app yanked from the Apple store last month, appeared on Dr. Drew’s new HLN talk show Friday night to discuss that very topic.

A gay couple, who actually met during one of Chambers’ so-called “conversion therapy” programs, confronted him on the show and presented themselves as proof that the very idea is absolutely ridiculous.

Sex Advice From David Burtka

David Burtka is getting ready to open up about his love and sex life before Neil Patrick Harris in a new chat show called Foursome.

The show, similar in style to the syndicated radio showLoveline, will feature Burtka and three other hosts. Burtka said he will be talking primarily about his partners before Harris.

“I have quite a past,” Burtka told TV Guide. “I have lots of stories to talk about.”

Last fall Harris and Burtka became fathers to twins Gideon and Harper, now five months old.

25 Years of LGBT Issues on Oprah

Oprah takes a look back at 25 years of covering LGBT issues on her talk show with special guests Greg Louganis and India’s Prince Gohil on Tuesday’s episode.

Olympic gold medalist Louganis will appear on the show to discuss coming out at the 1994 Gay Games and revealing on The Oprah Winfrey Show the following year that he is HIV-positive.

Prince Gohil appeared on the talk show in 2007 after his family disowned him for coming out. The show promises updates on the prince’s relationship with his mother, the queen.
