Kurt and Courtney’s Daughter Honors Gay Pioneer With Tattoo
Does this mean that Frances Bean Cobain will be stepping into the spotlight? We would all be tuned in, don’t deny it.

A new photo shoot with Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of late rock icon Kurt Cobain and musician-actress-personality Courtney Love, reveals the progeny has a tattoo of Quentin Crisp on her back.
Bean is the subject of a moody black-and-white photo shoot by Hedi Slimane. In the photos the 19-year-old shows off a number of tattoos, including one of the late queer activist on her back beneath her right shoulder next to a French quote, “L’art est la solution au Chaos,” which translates as “Art is the solution of chaos.”
The British-born Crisp, who died in 1999, is still celebrated by many as a queer pioneer. His 1968 memoir The Naked Civil Servant detailed his life and the persecution he often experienced due to his refusal to hide being gay.

Chronicling The History Of Seamen’s Body Art
If you have one tattoo or more you are most likely mapping out your next one. For awhile now i have bee obsessing on old school American Sailor tattoos. As soon as my piggy bank get full i’ll finally be able to get my big ship on my chest I have been dreaming about with the banner reading ” Homeward Bound.” Unless unless I request donations here on Accidental Bear. Would that be tacky? I mean, you want me to be happy, right?

Tattoos And The American Sailor: Exhibit At Mystic Seaport Opens

For love of country, for brotherhood, family and fear of the ocean’s lasting embrace, American sailors have marked their bodies for more than two centuries.
A new exhibit at Mystic Seaport — “Skin & Bones: Tattoos in the Life of the American Sailor” — chronicles the history of indelible body art among the nation’s working and fighting seamen. Displays include paintings, photographs and artifacts, including evil-looking needles that early tattooists used on their shipmates. There’s also an interactive Tattoo-A-Tron, which uses video projection to etch an ephemeral and painless image on a patron’s hand or forearm.
The decorated sailor’s strong arms and labor-tightened torso are shown throughout the exhibit at the museum’s Mallory Gallery. There are large illustrations of hard-bodied U.S. Navy men who left records of their tattoos in federal certificates intended to provide proof of American sailors’ identities and therefore guard against impressment, or forced service, in the British navy. Aaron Fullerton’s 1797 certificate, for example, lists a ship tattoo on his right hand and his initials and year of birth [1778] on his left. READ MORE

Man Exchanges Tattoo for Sex With 15-Year-Old: Cops
I mean, If i were to pay for a new tattoo with sex that would be fine. I am so not above it. But WTF, hasn’t he ever seen To catch A Predator? No sympathy for the bastard. He should be forced to have sex with an 80 yr old women as punishment. This may be the sentence for chester molesters of minors!

Bristol Township Police arrested a 34-year-old Falls Township man after he allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old girl many times, promising the young teen a tattoo in exchange.
Walter Meyerle, of the 900 block of E Penn Valley Road in Morrisville, Pa., was arrested on charges of felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and other charges.
But Meyerle strongly maintains his innocence.
“There are a lot of serious charges and it’s pretty serious but there’s nothing to back it up,” Meyerle told NBC Philadelphia after his arraignment. “We’ll see who’s guilty.”

All Eyes On: Four Year Strong
I stumbled on Four year Strong in my usual way, saw a pic of hotties with beards, clicked a link, which lead me to Youtube, which lead me to Wikipedia which lead me to bliss. Four Year Strong rock as much as their looks make me tingle downstairs. If you get my drift!
Four Year Strong is an American beard-core/pop punk[2] / melodic hardcore band fromWorcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalists and guitarists Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, keyboardist and back-up vocalist Josh Lyford and drummer Jackson Massucco.
They have released four studio albums with the latest, Enemy of the World, released on March 9, 2010.
