Chloe “I like toast” Sevigny gives an Exclusive Interview to Accidental Bear For Your Pleasure

by Accidental Bear

As I approached my conversation with Chloe I thought of it like a secret mission, being dropped from a helicopter onto an untouched island in search of yet found orchids. If I were to name an orchid, it would be called Chloe and it would smell of lavender and a mist of sage. I also sharpened my interviewing tools and studied the dictionary, afraid that I might not be able to understand the complex, advanced and evolved language that rolls off her tongue like butter. Chloe was gracious to any of the questions I tossed at her and I left no rock unturned.

Unrivaled Bandana-Stalls; What Does Your Bandana Say About You?

by Accidental Bear

In the gay community there are so many things we need to be careful of, the most popular dropping the soap. Another detail that we need to pay close attention to is the color of the bandana we happen to be sporting. Depending on which color you have chosen, it could tell the common pedestrian on the street that you are in to fisting, scat, golden showers, a top or a bottom and I believe there is a color disclosing that you are into some kinky shit. I wear a green one when I go running; 1, to keep the sweat under control and 2, because green looks good with my eyes. Check out this fancy Unrivaled Bandana-Stalls. What do they say about their wearer? ~A B

Two colors in the bandana-stall from Unrivaled. Available in navy/red and blue/sax. Goodhood has them.

How to Make A Natural Speaker (video)

by Accidental Bear

Just how green can we go without reverting to caveman days and banging rocks together to start a fire? This morning I tied 2 soup cans together by a mile long string so I can save time on my phone charger and keep my phone bill down. As I chatted to the end of my soup can, my words fell on deaf years and I cut my lip. The inventors of The Natural Speaker have better luck at keeping things simple and green.

Joon and Jung Studio are responsible for “The Natural Speaker” which employs a porcelain casing for optimal sound.

The idea for the ‘the natural speaker’ derived from the desire to create an absolutely unique, handcrafted speaker for the interior space.
Whereas a lot of speakers are constructed to produce a rather fat bass and sharp high tones, we felt the sound was kind of stuck inside the speakers, missing a natural vibe and ambiance. During the development of the ‘the natural speaker’ we discovered the great properties of porcelain as a speaker casing, providing a clear resonance and mellow sound. joonjung.com

Prom Queens; Not Everyone Happy With Outcome Of Vote

by Accidental Bear

via www.wmtw.com
According to News 8, “Both received enough write-in votes to win. They said they decided to run to break high school stereotypes and open some dialogue about tolerance and gay rights.”

The news station reported that Nelsen said, “When I went for it, I was like this could change who wins for the rest of the year. It doesn’t matter if it’s a guy or a girl who wins prom queen. Anyone can win, and on that same notion any type of person could win.”

News 8 reported that some Sanford residents said they did not support the idea of a gay prom king and queen, but opponents declined to comment on camera. READ MORE

I have a Sweet Tooth for Dolly Parton; NEW SONG ‘Together You and I’

by Accidental Bear

via tasteofcountry.com

A Dolly Parton love song is like a Sunday morning stroll through the forest: quietly beautiful, instantly familiar and simply satisfying. The country legend isn’t painting a picture that hasn’t been painted a thousand times before on her new single ‘Together You and I,’ but there still isn’t anyone who works a brush quite like Parton.

The opening verse of this uptempo track could be labeled as trite, but that would be premature. “My love for you is deeper than the depths of any ocean / And as faithful as the stars that grace the night,” Parton sings with a voice that is still impossibly flawless. Her commitment to the metaphor is what makes the song a keeper: “As constant as the sun making it’s journey through the heavens / And we’ll always be together you and I.”

The chorus isn’t a departure from the tone she sets: “Together you and I can stop the rain and make the sunshine / Paint a pretty rainbow brushed with love across the sky / Together you and I belong / Like a songbird and a song / And we’ll always be together you and I.”
